TOUR TARIFF

Tourist tariffs are set by the Royal Government through the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) and it is valid for all inclusive packages.

The minimum daily rates are inclusive of following services:

  • government’s royalty
  • accommodation on twin sharing basis
  • all transfers and sightseeing within Bhutan
  • services of accompanied English speaking guide
  • all meals
  • pack animals on treks
  • entrance fees to the monuments

Single Room Supplements.

The Government set package rates is valid as long as accommodation is on twin sharing basis. Incase single rooms are required, following supplements will be applicable:

  • For, Festival season = US $. 40/ per single room per night.
  • For, other season = US $. 25/ per single room per night.

Visa Fee

Visa fee US $ 40/ per person is payable extra and it can paid along with tour payment.

VISA FORMALITIES

All visitors to Bhutan require a visa.

Indian, Bangladeshis and Maldivian nationals can obtain a visa at the port of entry on producing a valid passport with a minimum of 6 month validity (Indian nationals may also use their Voters Identity Card (VIC).

For other Nationalist visas are only issued to the tourists who have booked their trip to Bhutan with local licensed tour operators either directly or through foreign travel agents. Tourist visa applications should to be submitted by a local licensed Bhutanese tour.

Atlas Tour and Travel will obtain your Bhutanese tourist visa once your trip is confirmed by making full Payment. The following details are required for processing your Bhutan tourist visa prior to the date of your Bhutan travel.

  • Scanned copy of passport
  • Occupation
  • Permanent address

The visa will be approved by the Tourism Council of Bhutan (TCB) once the full payment is transferred in the TCB’s account.

Kindly note that without full payment Tourism council of Bhutan will not approve the Visa clearance.
At the point of entry you will be required to show copy of your visa clearance letter.

CANCELLATION

Tour programs booked and subsequently cancelled shall be subject to cancellation charges as follows:

  • Within 30 days of the start of the tour program : Free
  • Within 21 days: 10% of the rate
  • Within 14 days:15% of the rate
  • Within 7 days: 30% of the rate
  • Less than 7 days or cancellation without notice: 50%of the rate
  • After arrival in Bhutan: 100%

Delayed Arrival / Departure

There shall be no charge for the number of days of delays in arrival of visitors due to weather conditions, Druk Air problems or road blocks.
